You choose a car
You tell us what you are looking for — make, model, budget and the features you cannot do without — or point us at a car from our catalogue. The catalogue is curated by hand and is not an automatic copy of the Korean listings, so if the exact model is missing we go and find it for you in Korea.
Our part
- We narrow down which models and years fit the budget
- We give an indicative final price delivered to Bulgaria
- We search for suitable cars in Korea if the catalogue has none
Your part
- You describe what you want or pick from the catalogue
- You ask every question up front
Day 1 — You choose a car
You tell us what you are looking for — make, model, budget and the features you cannot do without — or point us at a car from our catalogue. The catalogue is curated by hand and is not an automatic copy of the Korean listings, so if the exact model is missing we go and find it for you in Korea.
- We narrow down which models and years fit the budget
- We give an indicative final price delivered to Bulgaria
- We search for suitable cars in Korea if the catalogue has none
- You describe what you want or pick from the catalogue
- You ask every question up front
Days 2–4 — We inspect the car
Before we talk money we check that specific car — an official condition report from Korea, insurance and service history, verified mileage and detailed photos. We show you everything, including the faults.
- We order the condition report and check the history
- We verify the mileage against official records
- We send you photos and a short summary of the pros and cons
- You review the report and the photos
- You say yes, no, or show me another one
Days 4–6 — Contract and deposit
You receive a written quote with the final price in euros — car, shipping, duty, VAT and our service in one figure. A deposit is transferred only after you confirm the price and the condition of the car in writing.
- We prepare the offer with the final price in euros
- We draw up the contract and explain every clause
- We reserve the car with the seller in Korea
- You confirm the price and condition in writing
- You sign the contract and transfer the deposit
Weeks 2–7 — Purchase and shipping
We buy the car on your behalf, handle the export paperwork in Korea and load it onto a vessel. The sea passage takes around 30–35 days, and you get an update at every stage without having to do anything.
- We pay the seller and take delivery of the car
- We handle the export and deregistration in Korea
- We arrange the sea freight and track the shipment
- You follow our updates
- You plan the balance payment for arrival
Weeks 7–8 — Customs and balance
Once it arrives in Bulgaria the car goes through customs clearance. Duty and VAT were already calculated in the offer, so the balance is no surprise. You pay the remainder and the car is officially yours.
- We file the customs declaration
- We settle the duty and VAT payment
- We arrange transport from the port to us
- You check the balance invoice against the offer
- You transfer the remainder under the contract
Weeks 8–9 — Registration and handover
We register the car with the traffic police, carry out a final check and prepare it for the road. You receive the keys together with the full set of documents — contract, condition report, customs paperwork and registration certificate.
- We register the car with the traffic police
- We carry out a final check and preparation
- We hand over the keys and the full set of documents
- You sign the registration documents
- You inspect the car and take the keys
Why Korea
Four reasons to look further afield.
- Equipment you pay extra for in Europe
Cars built for the Korean domestic market usually come with high equipment levels — leather, ventilated seats, driver assistance — which are expensive options here.
- A history you can verify
Insurance and service history are available by chassis number, so you know what you are buying before you pay.
- In good shape for their age
Korea is a compact country with good roads and regular servicing, so cars often arrive with lower mileage and in better shape than their contemporaries here.
- A price that compares easily
Even with shipping, duty and VAT the final price is often better than a comparable car in Europe — and you know it before you decide.
